Maximus

Gathered Intelligence
---------------------
Army: White Nova (but that hasn't been invented yet...)
Story: Originally from the same planet as Sturm, he was reverse cloned from a native leviathan, effectively creating an assault monster. Hates Adder. Leader of White Nova.

Hit: Stationary Objects
Miss: Fast Things

Abilities
---------------------
Description: As an Army Leader, Maximus boasts an impressive 130% Defence for all units, as well as an added 10% bonus defence against anything that has moved 6 or more spaces to attack. However, Infantry and Transports have only 80% attack and Defence, and capturing infantry have a -1 modifier to their capture time.

Powers - 4 for CO Power, another 6 for Super CO Power

CO Power - Maxim Primus
All Units have 110% Attack and 140% defence. +1HP is added to all units.

Super CO Power - Majoris Recarnum
All Units have 115% Attack and 160% Defence. +2HP is added to all units. All your Units that died in the previous turn return with 2HP to the nearest square possible to the one they dies in.


Preckle

Gathered Intelligence
---------------------
Army: White Nova
Story: Originally a rat from Green Earth, was genetically modified into a human by Maximus. Can often be very clever, but often very stupid.

Hit: Sneakiness
Miss: Cats

Abilities
---------------------
Description: As a former rat, Preckle has a +1 vision range, and can see into forests and reefs from a diagonally adjacent square. Also has a -10% luck modifier. Infantry gains +10% attack and defence on cites, but -10% in rivers. All Vehicles and Planes have 80% defence as well.

Powers - 5 for CO Power, another 4 for Super CO Power
---------------------
CO Power - Outbreak
Can build on any property owned, and all properties on the map and their surrounding spaces become visible.

Super CO Power - Swarm
As above, but also Infantry have +2 movement range, and can move built units on bases instantly.

Both CO's are a lot to strong but as Maximum should be a leader. It's acceptable!
Preckle CO-Power is to strong a lot to strong, because you can block the whole enemy-base. If their are bases the enemy don't produce a unit last day and in Combination with a Tag-Power you may win by building an infantry and conquer the HQ in one round.
And Preckle don't have a real weakness on top of that.
And Maximum's weakness is nothing compared to his advantages!

yeah, i was thinking about the tactical side of Preckle...I thought that Maximus was ok, cause hed be very fragile at the start of the game, cuase it takes him 3 turns to capture a property...I think I'll edit Preckle, so that he has an 80% defence with all vehicles and Planes.

It could be at beginning a big disadvantage needing three turns to capture a city that's true!
But as i said a Boss CO can be strong!
And i know that the really defficults thing is to create a balanced CO. Normally you create CO's that are to strong.
But as you can't normally test your own CO's you can't find it out. I can. :lol:

ha ha ha...lol, fortunate you...
anyway, about Preckle being able to win in one turn potentially...can't Sami do the same thing with her Tag Swap?

There is a little difference between Sami and Preckle. If you play Sami you have to get your infantry near the enemy base. So normally you have allready beaten half of the enemy and it's only a question of time until you win! Take in consideration on small maps Sami and Preckles Power do the same! You win fast!
But on a big map. You produce your units at the front! You're forced to build units beeing far away of the front. Otherwise you'll loose during Preckles Power! Sami has to beat some enemys to do so. Preckle simply can moves the front to the HQ with no fight or he can attack an enemy from two sides without any big problems, which means he would be the best CO against Meatwalls ever created!
Do you get my point?
I would change his SCOP and COP to all Allied Bases and maybe Neutral Bases that would be better or make the cost for the Powers higher!

there you go...I thought it wouldn't be that bad though, cause he'd effectively be a less powerful Hachi, without halved costs...thanks for the tips though... You completed all Advance wars games?

I only completed AW, AW2 and AW DS the Campaigns with a S-Rank! I don't have AW DC so i can't complete it! And I completed the War Room too except for in AW DS, because i like AW 2 most, so i play that and in the moment i'm not playing them. I play my own AW game!
So i know something about developing CO's as well as about playing it!
And Hachi as you may know is a broken CO! But all in all Preckle is the better CO from the Ideas behind!
It's always much more complicate to invent a CO with new Day to Day abilities and Powers without using existing stuff in the game.
Keep up working on CO's and stuff! It's never wrong!
